While I have yet to cook today, I did make a trip with the bf to our local used bookstore. I always check out the free shelf and was very excited to find a well loved copy of Mastering the Art of French Cooking by the one and only Julia Child. I can't wait to spend a portion of my afternoon looking through this book and figuring out which recipes I want to try first! I wish the cover weren't all marked up but that's what the bookstore does to signify the book is from the free shelf.
Below is a picture of my newly redecorated (well kind of) master bedroom. The picture does not do the new bedding justice but I really love the way the navy blue and light blue pop against the white background. All I need now is a blue and white toile pillow to pull the room together!

Oh my goodness! You don't even know how long I've been searching used bookstores to find a copy! I'm so jealous! I really need to give you a list with everything I want in life so you can find it all at your thrift store! :)
I hate that they mark them like that. Why couldn't they think of something that doesn't cover the entire cover?
Have you read My Life in France by Julia Child. I think you would really enjoy it.
I thought it was her signature! Hehe. I hope you enjoy the book (and being free just makes it that much better). Xoxo-BLC
