It's cold and rainy here in Chicago today, which makes me really want tomato soup and a grilled cheese. Tomato soup and grilled cheese is one of my all time favorite meals, I absolutely love it. While I do love a good homemade tomato soup I admit that Campbell's is my favorite.
There is just something so comforting about tomato soup and a grilled cheese on white bread with American cheese. I know it's not exactly gourmet, but I really don't care. This is one of those meals you just don't mess with! Perhaps I'll make homemade tomato soup and serve it with grilled cheese sandwiches on thick sliced bread with thick sliced cheese.
On another note, the bf and I move tomorrow, and since we will no longer be staying with his aunt and uncle I'll have to start cooking again. The bf is going to be quite disappointed now that he has to go back to eating what I cook compared to the amazing meals his uncle has prepared for us in the last three weeks. I guess I'm going to have to step up my game, which will work out well for you fellow bloggers, because hopefully I'll have some new and exciting quick and cheap dishes!

P.S. Is anyone watching I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here? I saw the first couple of episodes and am not quite sure what to say, oh wait, yes I do. Spiedi is even more horrible than I could have ever imagined (I'm not a Hills watcher) and I applaud NBC for such a smart casting move since Speidi is such a compelling reason to watch the show (although they have since left, but Spencer may return according to perezhilton.com)

I have been trying to figure out all day what I wanted for supper. All I could come up with so far was angel food cake with blackberries! haha But now I really want a grilled cheese sandwich. Only I'm weird, and eat them with pepper jack instead of American cheese like normal people. Thanks for the inspiration!
haha I just watched the first episode on Hulu and decided not to let it suck me in. I'm interested to see how Holly will do though.

Wolfgang Puck makes an amazing tomato soup... the Organic Creamy Tomato soup. It is perfect with a little bit of pepper on top. And of course, a good grilled cheese sandwich.
Hope the move went well! Aren't you happy it's stopped raining FINALLY?! However, I think it's supposed to rain off and on ALL week, ugh!
Anyway, I did watch the first episode..did you see Speidi on the today show or on The View??
